The uncomplicated lines and mandarin collar of this jacket are a perfect foil for highly textured and exciting designer yarns. Tweeds and boucles, yarns blended with mohair, rayon and alpaca and many of the variegated yarns all work to advantage with this classic shape.

Worked on #9 needles to slightly compact the bulky weight yarn to a fabric suitable for a jacket, it is relatively easy to knit. Lara is a suitable pattern for the confident beginner and intermediate knitters
