The Rigby can be worked in a multitude of yarns from homespun to Shetland, alpaca or silk. Dress it up and make it elegant sumptuous - in alpaca or dress it down and make it casual in a Shetland, Superwash wool or cotton/wool blends.

The design features the Broken Rib Stitch, sometimes referred to as the Mistake Rib, which is an easy and rhythmical pattern. The Broken Rib is achieved by working K2, P2 ribbing on an uneven number of stitches. It is a simple and subtle, yet handsome stitch, and an easy knit on #5 needles. Rigby is equally suitable for men and women and versatile in its use, day or night, work or play.
