Set-in sleeves and a crew neck (a double-crew neck for the larger sizes) tailor this handsome slipstitch design knit on #6 needles for the intermediate knitter.

The Eye of the Partridge is the easiest of the slipstitch patterns and looks best when knit in smooth, evenly spun (worsted spun method) yarns. We recommend that the same yarn be used for both main color and contrasting color for best results.

The possible color combinations are endless. For a dramatic effect, knit in two high-contrast colors. For a more subtle result, use two colors of similar value.
